I can't say I remember, several years later, how exactly that first conversation with Ellen went. I just remember getting off the phone and saying, "I'm going to be so pissed if I don't get to work on that wedding."
Thankfully, Ellen and Dan partnered up with me to create their rock n' roll dreams!

Elvis and all. (Performer: Devon Cass)
Ellen and Dan are music fanatics- I mean, the absolute music people of all music people. They have gone to more concerts already, than I will probably manage in my lifetime. So it made sense that we bring in alllllllll the music details to their wedding!

Ellen's my kind of gal- she's not afraid of color! We had a custom backdrop painted for their sweetheart table, which was accented with the best kind of decor- cutouts of their beloved kitties, Cash and Penny (Lane, of course).

Ellen designed and created all of the signage for the night, from bar signs to the station menus to the custom coffee cart that came to visit!

Bonus pics time!

I'll be fully transparent here: I waited awhile to post this wedding because of the venue itself. Now that the Art Factory is safely out of business, I'm so happy I get to share Ellen and Dan's love story!
(For real though, I loved all of my Art Factory brides, but that place was awful. Maybe one day Ellen will get me to talk about it on tape.)
